Esma Redžepova još pre tri godine tužila je “Borata” za neverovatnih 800.000 eura zbog toga što su bez njene dozvole iskoristili pesmu “Chaje shukarije” u nekoliko prizora u filmu.

Esma Redžepova poznata je kao najveća kraljica romske muzike i ovih dana postaće bogatija za 26.000 eura koliko je dobila odšetu zbog neovlašćenog korišćenja njene pesmu u filmu “Borat” u kojem glavnu ulogu tumači kontroverzni komičar Sacha Baron Cohen.

- Dosta mi je više da se svi služe mojom pesmom. Upotrebljava se bez dozvole i niko ne kaže da sam je ja napisala - izjavila je Esma još 2006. godine.

Obzitom da je u pitanju svetki popularan film koji je pogledalo na milione gledalaca, kraljica romske muzike tražila je odštetu od 800.000 eura pa se postavlja pitanje da li je zadovoljna presudom od 26.000 eura koliko je dobila za neovlašćeno korišćenje numere “Chaje shukarije” u pomenutom filmu.
