Više od 2,6 miliona primeraka knjige The Tales of Beedle the Bard JK Rowling prodato je u prvoj nedelji.

Time je ovo delo postalo najbrže prodavana knjiga godine, a sav prihod je namenjen u humanitarne svrhe (6,5 miliona dolara do sada).

Knjiga je štampana u šest miliona primeraka, a novac od prodaje pripašće humanitarnoj organizaciji Children’s High Level Group, čiji je autorka Harryja Pottera jedan od osnivača i koja je specijalizovana za pomoć ugroženoj deci u istočnoj Evropi.
