Neugledna britanka Susan Boyle za samo desetak dana nakon što se pojavila u emisiji „Britain’s Got Talent”, postala je svetska zvezda i ličnost broj jedan na internetu. Snimak iz pomenute emisije u kojoj je izvela numeru „I Dreamed A Dream” iz mjuzikla „Jadnici”, blago rečeno, oduševila publiku i žiri, a Susan je preko noći postala svetska zvezda.

Video klip sa audicije show programa na sajtu youtube.com pogledalo je preko sto miliona ljudi i samo je pitanje dana kada če upravo njen snimak postati najgledaniji u istoriji pomenutog sajta.

Susan je već sada apsolutni favorit za pobedu u pomenutom šou programu i osvajanje nagrade od 100.000 funti, a kako kruže priče, ona je već započela pregovore sa izdavačkom kućom BMG Sony koja ima ozbiljne planove za njenu dalju karijeru.

Popularna Susan rešila je da promeni i svoj izgled pa je juče ponosno paparacima pozirala u modernoj haljini, crnoj kožnoj jakni i cipelama sa visokom štiklom, ali tvrdi da je slava ipak nije promenila.

Da ni amerikanci koji su poznati kao poprilično rezervisani i hladni, nisu ostali ravnodušni na Susan Boyle govore pozivi iz njihovih najgledanijih emsija koji žele upravo Susan kao gosta.

Najpoznatiji američki TV voditelji Rozi O’Donel, Davide Leterman i Oprah već su je pozvali da gostuje u njihovim emisijama, a prava medijska halabuka se tek očekuje.
Takođe, posle sjajnog nastupa škotske domaćice, verovatno su najsrećniji producenti mjuzikla „Jadnici” koji se i dalje izvodi u Severnoj Americi – prodaja ulaznica se učetvorostručila, a prema podacima sajta „Amazon”, CD sa muzikom iz predstave je volšebno postao jedan od najprodavanijih…
