Slikarka Olja Ivanjicki preminula je danas u 78. godini života. Olja Ivanjicki je dobitnik brojnih nagrada, među kojima “Sedmojulske” i “Vukove” nagrade za životno delo, te najvećih priznanja u zemlji i svetu.

Оlja je takođe, jedan оd osnivača “Меdiale”, grupe koju su predstavljali mladi slikari, pisci, filozofi, arhitekte, kompozitori. Svim članovima “Mediale” bila je zajednička ideja: beskrajna ljubav prema umetnosti i verovanje u njene sveukupne moći. Šesdesetih godina prošlog veka započela je pravac pop art u Beogradu. Olja je imala 87 samostalnih izložbi u zemlji i inostranstvu. Za njom su ostale mnoge izvedbe koje se pamte, kao i njene slike koje su našle svoje mesto u brojnim muzejima i galerijama širom sveta.
